This post is inspired by two excellent films I watched over the holiday weekend and one that’s on my list. If you haven’t seen The Harder they Fall and King Richard yet, get to it. I’ve got Nella Larsen’s book turned film, Passing, on deck. The former two films had me thinking about the complexities of family love and family gatherings. Passing added the layer of queerness into the mix.
